Graph Paper Printable
Download 8.5 x 11 graph paper as a true-scale PDF. Use the square grid spacing control below for classroom quarter-inch grids, metric 5 mm squares, or finer inch pitches. Engineering, dot, isometric, and hex grids are linked below. Also see the 1-inch square battle grid for tabletop RPG maps. Print at 100%, actual size, scaling off.
Square grids
Use the generator above for square grids from 1/10 to 1/4 inch and metric cells from 2 mm to 1 cm. Pick spacing before you print or download.
Engineering
Engineering computation pads with bold majors every inch follow ANSI drafting conventions, including the familiar five divisions per inch. Drafters, EE students, and anyone sketching circuit schematics reach for these grids on homework that names engineering paper.
Dot
Dot grids guide bullet journaling, planners, and hand lettering practice with light structure and no ruled lines. Journal keepers and designers use them when alignment help should stay invisible behind ink and watercolor.
Isometric
Isometric grids support 3D and axonometric drawing for design technology coursework, furniture and cabinet sketches, and tabletop game tiles. Each sheet lists the triangle side length and the vertical column pitch derived from it.
Hex: battle maps, wargaming, and chemistry
Hex grids serve battle maps, wargaming, hexcrawl and overland campaigns, organic chemistry ring sketches, and cartography. Pointy-top honeycomb cells tile without gaps when you print at true scale for miniatures or coursework.
