Amortization Schedule, Free Printable PDF

An amortization schedule shows how each payment splits between principal and interest over the life of a loan. Early payments are mostly interest; later payments chip away at principal faster. This page walks through a $250,000 loan at 6.5% over 30 years so you can see that shift row by row.

Use the controls below to enter your own balance, rate, and term. Download a multi-page PDF or CSV with every payment, or switch to annual summary for long terms. Your loan figures never leave your browser.

This is an estimate for planning — actual loans may include escrow, fees, insurance, and lender rounding rules this tool does not model. Not financial advice.

30-Year Mortgage Amortization Schedule

The 30-year fixed mortgage is still the default for U.S. home loans. This page shows the full 360-payment path for $300,000 at 6.5%, the schedule most borrowers receive at closing, but here you can tweak terms before you sign.

Controls on this page default to annual summary for this long term so the PDF stays readable. Switch to every payment when you need row-level detail. Download CSV for Excel.

Planning tool only. Servicer schedules may round differently on individual payments while still landing on zero at payoff.

Biweekly Mortgage Payment Calculator

True biweekly mortgages collect half the monthly payment every two weeks, 26 half-payments a year, which equals 13 full monthly payments. That extra payment per year pays the loan down faster than 12 monthly payments at the same rate.

This calculator uses 26 periods per year with the standard half-monthly payment amount, not monthly divided by two on a monthly schedule. The summary compares interest saved versus paying monthly.

Controls on this page let you switch back to monthly for side-by-side planning. Not financial advice.

Auto Loan Amortization Schedule

Car loans are shorter and smaller than mortgages but the maths work the same way: fixed payment, declining interest, rising principal share. This example is $35,000 at 7.5% over six years, typical for a used or mid-range new vehicle.

Enter your dealer quote in the controls on this page and download a PDF before you visit the lot. Seventy-two payments fit on a few printed pages.

Does not model gap insurance, doc fees rolled into the loan, or early payoff penalties your contract may include.

Student Loan Payoff Calculator

Graduates often add a small extra payment when salary allows. This page shows $40,000 at 6.0% with an extra $150 per month, how many months you shave off and interest saved appear in the summary block.

Controls on this page adjust extra payment amount. Download the full schedule to share with a partner or stick in a budget binder.

Not financial advice. Does not model PSLF, IDR, or subsidized interest accrual.

Personal Loan Amortization Schedule

Personal loans for debt consolidation, home projects, or medical bills usually run three to seven years at fixed rates. This schedule shows $15,000 at 11% over five years, higher APR than secured debt, so the interest column deserves scrutiny.

Controls on this page accept up to $50 million for edge cases like business loans entered manually. Privacy line: nothing you type is uploaded.

Origination fees financed into the balance are not separated in this table.
